The Love You Make
- Patina Bronze

Within the bonding love that can exist between two people, there are multiple roles that can change, reverse, evolve and grow stronger.
“The Love You Make” was inspired by the McCartney Beatle mantra:
“And in the end…the love you take….is equal to the love you make”
Again, I find myself speaking to the ultimate joy in life when two become one
While still being two.

The woman is nurturing and loving him in a motherly embrace wrapping her
arms around his head pressing it to her breasts. – But, he is also lifting her up
in protective, dedicated adoration….like a Sir Lancelot for his Guinevere.
They are both strong and soft in different ways within their love.
They are clothed below, however, they are inseparably pressed naked
chest to chest—heart to heart..together.
There are open and private parts of love between two people. They have their public and private lives together-but, there is no open space between them.
Even her dress becomes part of him, flowing through and draping over his legs. Their intertwining love is further symbolized by them both crossing their ankles
in an almost ballet position in the dance of life…together.
Again, I find myself speaking to the ultimate joy in life when two become one while remaining two.
